Zebrasoma scopas – Yellow Colormorph – RARE!
Sample picture!!!
The Scopas Tang (Zebrasoma scopas) is a popular aquarium fish, but usually not known for being a particularly interesting color. The rare, yellow (xanthic) color morph is different in this regard, though – while you might take it for a Yellow Tang (Z. flavescens) at first, a closer look will show you a subtly different coloration and skin patterning. Definitely a cool and unusal fish to have in your tank!
Zebrasoma tangss are popular because they are less sensitive and less aggressive than other doctorfish. Still, it’s best to introduce multiple tangs to your tank at once to reduce initial aggression. They feed mainly on algae, so Nori algae, spinach, salad or similiar should be offered in addition to frozen and other fishfood.
